Straightforward wins.

Premier League MW 34

Watford 2 vs. 1 Norwich

Buendia gave Norwich the lead in the 4th minute with his 1st goal of the season. It was short lived though as Dawson got the equaliser for Watford in the 10th minute. Welbeck scored a brilliant overhead winner in the 55th minute for Watford. Watford remain 17th 3 points clear from the relegation zone while Norwich are now 10 points from safety and all but relegated. 

Arsenal 1 vs. 1 Leicester

Aubameyang gave Arsenal the lead in the 21st minute but missed several chances to move clear of Leicester in the 1st half. Nketiah was sent off in the 75th minute after coming off the bench and Vardy scored the equaliser in the 84th minute. Vardy himself could have been sent off but VAR was all over the place this weekend. 

West Ham 0 vs. 1 Burnley

Rodriguez scored the only goal of the game in the 38th minute as Burnley sealed 3 points. Tarkowski could have been sent off for the away team but VAR was at it again. West Ham remain 16th 3 points clear of the relegation zone while Burnley remain 10th but only 2 points behind Sheffield United who are 7th. 

Man City 5 vs. 0 Newcastle

Jesus started the festivities in the 10th minute while Mahrez, David Silva, Sterling and a Feranandez own goal contributed to the rest. City remain 2nd while Newcastle drop down to 13th.

Sheffield United 1 vs. 0 Wolverhampton

A tight game which was won in the 93rd minute as Egan scored to steal 3 points for the Blades. Sheffield United climb up to 7th and a potential Europa League place while Wolves remain 6th but now 6 points from 5th as their Champions League dreams take a hit. 

Brighton 1 vs. 3 Liverpool

Salah and Henderson scored within 10 minutes to give Liverpool an early lead. Trossard got one back for Brighton before half time. Salah though grabbed a 2nd in the 76th minute to seal the win. Brighton remain 15th in the table while Liverpool move to 92 points.

Everton 1 vs. 1 Southampton

Ings scored in the 31st minute to give Southampton the lead while Richarlison scored in the 44th minute to equalise. Neither team could take the three points over the course of the 2nd half. Everton remain 11th while Southampton move into 12th.

Bournemouth 0 vs. 0 Tottenham

VAR struck this game again as Tottenham were disallowed a clear penalty while a Bournemouth goal was ruled out for a touch of the hand. Bournemouth were really the dominant team as Tottenham could not break the Cherries down. Bournemouth move into 18th 3 points behind 17th while Tottenham drop into 9th.

Aston Villa 0 vs. 3 Man United

Villa started the game well and even hit the post before United were awarded a joke penalty by Moss. The replays showed that Fernandes had clearly jumped into the defender and stepped on his ankle but VAR allowed it. Fernandes gave United the lead while Greenwood and Pogba added the rest. Villa were defensively poor for the other two goals allowing both Greenwood and Pogba plenty of time to shoot. Villa drop into 19th 4 points from safety while United remain 5th just a point behind Leicester.

La Liga MW 35

Valencia 2 vs. 1 Valladolid

Maxi Gomez gave Valencia the lead in the 30th minute while Garcia equalised for Valladolid as soon as the 2nd half started. Kang-in got the late winner for Valencia in the 89th minute. Valencia move into 8th with the win while Valladolid drop into 14th.

Celta Vigo 1 vs. 1 Atletico Madrid

Morata scored in the 1st minute but Beltran got the equaliser in the 49th minute as Atletico could not reply back. Celta remain 16th 4 points clear of the relegation zone while Atletico remain 3rd but only on goal difference.

Getafe 1 vs. 3 Villarreal

All the goals came in the final 30 minutes as Cazorla gave Villarreal the lead in the 66th minute via the penalty spot. Duro equalised in the 80th minute for Getafe. Cazorla again converted a penalty in the 86th minute and Pena sealed the deal in the 93rd minute. Getafe remain 6th as their return to football continues to get worse. Villarreal remain 5th and go 4 points clear of Getafe. 

Real Betis 3 vs. 0 Osasuna

Rodriguez, Pedraza, and Alena all scored as Betis finally managed a comfortable win against Osasuna. Betis move into 13th with the points while Osasuna remain 11th. 

Barcelona 1 vs. 0 Espanyol

Fati and Lozano were sent off for either team within 3 minutes of each other during the 2nd half and Suarez got the only goal of the game in the 56th minute as Barcelona just about managed to beat Espanyol. Barcelona go to within a point of Real Madrid with the leaders still to play while Espanyol remain bottom of the table 11 points from safety and relegated with only 3 games to go. 

Mallorca 2 vs. 0 Levante

Hernandez and Kubo scored in either half to give Mallorca a big win against Levante. Mallorca remain 18th but only 3 points from safety while Levante remain 12th. 

Eibar 0 vs. 0 Leganes

The two teams played out a goalless draw. Eibar move into 15th with the point while Leganes remain 19th and 6 points from safety. 

Bilbao 1 vs. 2 Sevilla

Capa gave Bilbao the lead in the 29th minute but Sevilla mustered a late comeback. Banega scored in the 69th minute and El Haddadi got the winner in the 74th minute. Bilbao drop into 9th while Sevilla remain 4th but level on points with Atletico. 

Serie MW 31

Lecce 2 vs. 1 Lazio

Calcedo gave Lazio the lead in the 3rd minute but Babacar equalised in the 30th minute. Lucioni grabbed the winner in the 47th minute as Patric was sent off for Lazio in the 93rd minute. Massive points for Lecce as they move into 17th and out of relegation zone by a point. Lazio miss an opportunity to close the gap with Juventus as the leaders also lost. Lazio remain 2nd 7 points behind them and only 2 ahead of Atalanta. 

AC Milan 4 vs. 2 Juventus

In a highly entertaining game AC Milan came back to beat Juventus as the legendary team looks to get back to their old ways. A goalless first half saw Rabiot and Ronaldo give Juventus a 2-0 lead within the opening 10 minutes of the 2nd half. Ibrahimovic scored a penalty in the 62nd minute to get one back for AC Milan. Kessie equalised 4 minutes later for the home team. Leao gave Milan the lead 1 minute later and Rebic sealed the deal in the 80th minute. Milan remain 7th 2 points behind 5th placed AS Roma as they continues their revival. Juventus remain top of the table as they sit 7 points clear but end a winning run. 

Genoa 1 vs. 2 Napoli

Mertens gave Napoli the lead right before half time. Goldaniga equalised for Genoa at the restart but Lozano grabbed the winner in the 66th minute. Genoa drop into the relegation zone 1 point from safety while Napoli remain 6th level on points with Roma. 

Fiorentina 0 vs. 0 Cagliari

The two teams played out a goalless draw as neither could break the deadlock. Fiorentina remain 13th while Cagliari remain 11th.

Atalanta 2 vs. 0 Sampdoria

Toloi and Fruto scored late in the 2nd half as Atalanta continues their brilliant form to win the game. They move into 3rd with the 3 points only 2 points behind Lazio. Sampdoria drop into 16th 5 points from the relegation zone. 

Bologna 1 vs. 2 Sassuolo

Berardi and Haraslin scored to give Sassuolo a good lead while Barrow got a goal in the 91st minute for Bologna. Sassuolo continue their good form as they move into 8th with the win. Bologna drop into 10th with the loss. 

Torino 3 vs. 1 Brescia

Torregrossa gave Brescia the lead in the 21st minute but Mateju scored an own goal in the 48th minute while Belotti and Zaza added the rest to secure 3 points for Torino. Torino move into 15th with the win while Brescia remain 19th 7 points from safety. 

AS Roma 2 vs. 1 Parma

Kucka scored a penalty in the 9th minute to give Parma the lead. Mkhitaryan got the equaliser before half time though and Veretout grabbed the winner in the 57th minute. Roma remain 5th in the table while Parma remain 12th. 

SPAL 0 vs. 3 Udinese

De Paul, Okaka, and Lasagna all scored to give Udinese a comfortable victory over SPAL. Udinese move into 14th with the win while SPAL remain at the bottom and 9 points from safety. 

Verona 2 vs. 2 Inter Milan

Lazovic gave Verona the lead in the 2nd minute but Candreva and a Dimarco own goal meant that Inter got the lead in the 2nd half. Inter just aren’t being able to finish games though as Veloso grabbed an equaliser in the 86th minute to steal a point. Verona drop into 9th while Inter drop into 4th a point behind Atalanta.
