Continuing are positive start is priority.
Chelsea vs. Man United is one of my favourite games of the season, most probably because we always do well and get the three points. United travel to Stamford Bridge in a different situation this season as they are struggling and sit 8th in the league. Chelsea on the other hand have been flying and sit third in the league with City, and Liverpool only separated by goal difference.
United did well for their comeback win against Newcastle but they were really poor in the first half and a better team would have finished them off and been able to keep their clean sheet. Mourinho always manages the win when he is at Old Trafford but at Stamford Bridge he has not won since taking charge of United and that run does not seem like it will end this season.
Sarri has been on fire since the start of the season and Sarriball has taken to the Chelsea players like paper to glue. Everyone seems to be enjoying it and while the defence does need improvement our attack has been free flowing with Hazard scoring the majority of the goals. A problem area that needs improvement is the contribution of goals from Morata, Giroud, Pedro, Willian, Kovacic, and Barkley. Morata and Barkley have gotten on the score sheet in recent games but the rest need to start hitting the net.
Chelsea Team Preview
Everyone is fit although Barkley, Ampadu, and Hudson-Odoi seem to have suffered injuries during international break and so will miss this match. Kovacic should start alongside Kante, and Jorginho in the midfield. In my opinion Morata deserves a start due to his recent goals but Sarri might bring him on later in the game.
Man United Team Preview
Man United have several selection headaches with defensive injuries in the bulk. Mourinho is almost certain to pick a defensive formation with the likes of Fellaini, Matic, and Pogba making up the midfield. Do not be surprised if Herrera receives a shock call up.
