A trip to the Toon.
Chelsea were brilliant for 75 minutes last weekend as we beat Arsenal to reclaim London. We did concede 2 goals in 25 minutes and our defence is something we need to work on if we are to progress with Sarriball. Sarriball as a whole is addictive and as Chelsea fan as soon as a game ends the countdown to next week begins. Last Weekend we were incredible in attack and when the likes of Hazard and Kovacic came on we were imperious in the second half.
Newcastle struggled to gain a point against Cardiff last weekend and goals seem to remain a problem for Benitez this season as well. Defensively they are solid and our defeat on the final day of last season showcased that. Sarriball should be too much to handle for Newcastle this weekend as as each week goes by the players seem to improve on every aspect of the game. Sarri has got the players on his side with several changes in the dressing room to keep the players happy and that unity seems to be reflecting on the pitch. A win is needed to keep up with the likes of City and Liverpool and as the media attention is focused on these two teams Chelsea can quietly go about their business.
Chelsea Team Preview
Fabregas should be the only player missing due to injury as Sarri should have a full squad to chose from. Hazard should start the game and perhaps we could see a start for Kovacic too as Willian and maybe Barkley might drop to the bench. Sarri stated that he only likes to keep one midfielder on his bench so perhaps Loftus-Cheek might feature and Barkley might be left at home for this game. Alonso looked shaky against Arsenal defensively but in attack he was imperious, he should start although Emerson could see a place on the bench. The rest of the team should remain the same with Christensen possibly coming in for Luiz.
Newcastle Team Preview
Hayden was sent off against Cardiff and Kennedy cannot feature against Chelsea. Up top Joselu might keep his place although it might be time to give Rondon a start. The team should remain the same otherwise.
Starting XI Prediction
A win is important and a clean sheet would be a great bonus, more Sarriball to entertain the fans with. COME ON CHELSEA!!!
