It grows on you.
As the season draws to a close Nike have today released Chelsea’s home kit for next season. The kit is based on the latest Vapor tempalate from Nike. Similar to this seasons home kit, the new kit has some noticeable changes. Tapored stripes weave through the shirt from the edge to the centre which is modernisation of our kits in the early 80’s, and there is a change in the collar as well. There is also a darker shaded pattern on the sleeve which is standard in all the latest Nike jerseys. ‘Blue is the Colour’ is embedded within the collar of the shirt as well. At first it does not seem dazzling by any stretch of the imagination but the kit does grew on you.
The last time we had red and white mixed into our shirt it was for the very ‘memorable’ 15/16 season. Though hopefully this time it will bring more luck and many more trophies. The kit will be worn against Newcastle in our final game of the season on Sunday.
