FA Cup Semi final
Man United vs. Tottenham
A win for both teams at home respectively means that this game is perfectly poised. While the game is at Wembley the fans will be evenly divided between the teams and so should not be seen as an advantage to Spurs. The pressure is on Spurs and Pochettino to reach their first final under his leadership while Mourinho has already been there and done that on numerous occasions. Spurs have been the better side in recent weeks while United have been all over the place. It is going to be a close game and it will be exciting to see whether Mourinho’s experience or Tottenham’s exuberance reach the final, one thing that is certain is that Tottenham need it the most.
Premier League
West Brom vs. Liverpool
A shock win for West Brom and a routine win for Liverpool last weekend means that both teams head into the fixture high on confidence. West Brom seem to have decided to go down swinging and any points taken from Liverpool would make the top four race very interesting. Liverpool have a Champions League semi final to look forward to so Klopp might rotate his players giving the likes of Salah and Firmino a rest. The outcome of this game depends on the lineup that Liverpool put forward.
Watford vs. Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace got a vital win against Brighton last weekend and 3 more points at Watford would take them up to 13th place level with Watford who are 12th. Watford are not in the best of form while Crystal Palace encouraged by Zaha and the return of Loftus Cheek seem like they are going to survive the drop. 3 more points for Crystal Palace is on the cards.
Arsenal vs. West Ham
A London derby as West Ham visit the Emirates in what is a crucial game for the hammers. Wenger will most likely rest a few players ahead of their meeting against Atletico Madrid in the Europa League but Aubameyang will most likely start as he is cup tied. A win for West Ham would take them into 12th needing two more points to reach 40, while Arsenal are in danger of dropping into 7th if the fail to win at the weekend. West Ham could cause an upset but Arsenal have been strong at home this season.
Stoke City vs. Burnley
Stoke need the win if they want to possess any hope of remaining in the Premier League. A draw last weekend at West Ham did little to create any momentum and Stoke will be looking to the fans to be the 12th man. Burnley come of a midweek loss to Chelsea and were far from brilliant in the game, they will be looking to continue their push for 6th with a win at Stoke.
Man City vs. Swansea
This game should be a celebration for City fans as the team play at home for the first time since being confirmed champions. Swansea will try to ruin the party but face a massive up hill task as they push for their own safety. Having nothing to play for now City will most likely try to break a few records in their remaining games as well as give a few of the fringe players some game time. Most likely outcome is 3 more points for City.
Everton vs. Newcastle
Newcastle will look to continue their revival with a win at Everton which would take them above the toffees into 9th. Everton have been poor in recent weeks and risk dropping into the bottom half of the table even though they have been guaranteed safety. Allardyce needs positive results for his job but Newcastle and Benitez should have enough to continue their winning streak.
Serie A
Juventus vs. Napoli
A major game in the Serie A as a win for Juventus would take them 7 points clear of Napoli and all but guarantee them the title, while a win for Napoli would reduce the deficit to 1 point making the remaining weeks very interesting. Since the turn of the year Napoli have dropped off while Juventus have rallied on even while suffering European set back. Juventus will want to continue their domination while Napoli look to break it.
